All Dogs Matter: Santa Paws Christmas Fair

On Sunday the 10th of December 2017 you can join All Dogs Matter for an afternoon of carolling, mulled wine and mince pies. The Santa Paws Grotto with Dogstar Photo will be taking pawtraits of your four legged friends between 12-3pm, perfect for anyone who needs some extra Christmas present inspiration! You can also pick up goodies from stalls with treats for humans and dogs alike, and partake in the festive Christmas raffle.

A Festive Gift Guide

Here at Fancy Dogs, one thing we always chase our tails over is Christmas! Watching our beloved pups rip open their presents, treating them to a little drop of Christmas dinner gravy (shh!) and seeing the little, or big, paw prints in the fresh snow. One thing I’m sure we’re all excited for when the festive season rolls around, is getting our pups involved. They are an important part of the family after all!

We wear our Christmas jumpers with pride, so why should our four-legged friends be left out of the fun?! We’ve put together this little gift guide of our most favourite Christmas costumes for doggies this year – and they’re guaranteed to make you smile with joy.

Santa Claws

At £9.99, it’s a bargain – you simply can’t go wrong. This costume features Santa’s iconic red suit with gold buckled belt design and jolly little bobble hat that sits cutely on top of your pooch’s head. This outfit is easy to slip over, just as you would a coat, so there’s no fuss.

Elf Pup

We all know that Santa’s little elves are hard at work, but who said they were all human? Just think how pleased your dog could be, trotting about the place in this cool Christmas outfit whilst lapping up all the smiles and “who’s a good boy then?”. Elf Pup comes in sizes extra small, small and medium, making it suitable for any dog; from a Miniature Pinscher up to a Schnauzer! This illusion costume is one of our favourites, and the little red and green hat is just oh-so-adorable.

Santa Paws

Yes we know, another Santa costume. But who doesn’t love the big guy?! This time though, we present you with a little costume that gives a good chuckle to anyone who sees it. The velvet suit and hat comes with little imitation hands and feet, which gives the image of a little father Christmas running about the place. Trust us, this outfit will have you crying with laughter!

Gingerbread Pup

Your dog will be run, run, running as fast as they can in this costume! This adorable outfit is our favourite at Fancy Dogs! Fancy Dogs proudly supports All Dogs Matter

Here you’ll find a collection of our favourite snaps from the All Dogs Matter Halloween charity walk. We saw a huge variety of pups, from sausages to schnauzers, to pugs and huskies. We saw lots of excellent costumes, including: spider man, a lobster, witches, pirates, batman, spiders and so much more! The busy day’s schedule included a long walk in London’s Hampstead Heath, ending with a fancy dress competition. Dog-friendly nibbles were supplied, along with a fang-tastic raffle with spooky prizes for the pups. Many dogs that took part in the event are residents at All Dogs Matter and were on the look out for their forever homes, so take a look to see what pups are still on the prowl!

We had a lovely time taking part in this Halloween event. It was great to see lots of dog-lovers attending,  and a big thank you to those who used our discount code all for a good cause!

All Dogs Matter: Halloween Dog Walk

Fancy Dogs are proud to support All Dogs Matter and their Halloween charity event!

This brilliant charity takes in strays and unwanted dogs and places them with a loving new family. Many dogs don’t have a forever home, but the hard work done by ADM means more dogs find somewhere safe and caring to live for the rest of their lives.

On Sunday the 29th of October, All Dogs Matter will be celebrating one of our favourite holidays – Halloween! The Halloween charity dog walk is taking place on Hampstead Heath, North London. Attendees are encouraged to get in the spooky spirit and dress up (bonus points if your costume matches your dog’s outfit). After the walk there will also be a dog Fancy Dress competition – we can’t think of a better way to celebrate the spooky season!

So round up your scary sausages, spooky staffs and your frightful frenchies, this event is set to be a good one!
